Founded in 2011 by Robin Reid with Michael Engelbrecht and Salty Thompson.  

 

Eagle Impact (EIRA) is a nationwide organization building quality rugby academies for elite young players. EIRA began with a single academy for 14-18 year old elite players in Southern California in September 2013 and has grown to six academies across America with additional clinics nationwide.

 

EIRA emphasizes both technical and tactical skill development - preparing players for their clubs and all star programs in the off season. The best prospects graduate to the USA High School All Americans (U18s) and U20 player pools.

 

Coach development is also an important component of EIRA. Coaches can earn continuing education credits with USA Rugby through EIRA instruction.
